New regulator delivers consistent ratings that are “near perfect”.

Oceanic regulator design has come a long way since its debut in the late 1970s.  Technology, along with ever-changing diver expectations, has created a precedent for precision and perfection in today’s scuba diving equipment. Oceanic understands this clearly as both concepts play an important role in the new EOS Regulator, the next generation of diving innovation from Oceanic.

EOS will easily become the new standard by which all regulators are judged. Comprised of precision-machined components and extensive research and design, the EOS regulator has achieved an incredible feat -– life-like breathing. Oceanic’s gifted team of design engineers have included effortless breathing, inhalation effort adjustments, and comfortable second stage swivels and orthodontic mouthpieces into a regulator that you can hold in the palm of your hand.  This is more than a regulator in the eyes of the Oceanic team, this is a dream come true.

Divers demand performance and the EOS delivers – in an almost unbelievable way. According to Oceanic design engineers, the EOS obtained repeatable breathing resistance readings the were near perfection. “Every regulator provides some level of breathing resistance during laboratory testing. The EOS delivered such incredible results time after time, that we went back and check the calibrations of the machines. The EOS consistently measured near perfect in breathing resistance scores,” the engineer said.

Previewed late last year at the DEMA Industry Trade Show, the EOS is now available to Oceanic dealers worldwide. Some of the product highlights include:

·         Pneumatically balanced second stage with virtually no breathing effort

·         Diver adjustable inhalation effort

·         Patented Dynamic Adjustment automatically maintains inhalation effort throughout the dive

·         Adjustable Venturi Switch (A.V.S.) for Dive/Pre-Dive Adjustment

·         Stainless steel inline ball swivel reduces jaw fatigue

·         Orthodontic mouthpiece with high-density bite tabs

·         Paired with the high-performance FDX-10 Forged Over-Balanced Diaphragm First Stage featuring DVT (Dry Valve Technology) and Enviro Kit

The Oceanic EOS Regulator has already started making news with Oceanic retailers from coast to coast. The sleek, high-performance design makes an immediate statement and the performance is unparalleled. For more details on the Oceanic EOS, visit the Oceanic website at www.OceanicWorldwide.com
